. Grass-Raised Lamb
Eat Healthy, Eat Grass-fed.

Our sheep flock consists of Scottish Blackface and North Country Cheviots.  These Scottish hill breeds fit our low input all grass system very well while producing the most wonderful, mild lamb.

While having all the benefits of beef, grass-fed lamb has two ties the amount of lutein.  Lutein is a naturally occurring anti-oxidant related to beta-Carotene, but more readily absorbed.  It has been linked to to fighting cancer and macular degeneration.  An USDA study found that grass-fed lamb contains 14% less fat and 8% more protein than its grain-fed counterparts.

We are excited about this new addition to our farm and have big expectations. If you are not accustomed to eating lamb, we hope to bring it into your home.  It has incredible flavor and has become a favorite in our house!

Our lamb is priced at $5.50/lb dressed weight (actual weight you will receive).  It is sold by the whole animal, and we are expecting the dressed weights to be between 30-50 pounds.
