All Forage Farms was established in 2001, and we now operate on two farms located in Shiocton and Manawa.  We've developed into a mixed species operation that has cattle, sheep & chickens to enhance the biodiversity and health of our farms.  We continue to research and educate ourselves on farming practices that improve our products and the land.  We believe in raising cattle and sheep the way nature intended, allowing them to harvest forage themselves.  Grazing animals are by far healthier than those in confinement.

We practice management intensive grazing, which means that our animals have access to a "salad" of grass, legumes and forbs for a short duration and are then moved to the next paddock.  This allows a constant supply of fresh, lush pasture while maintaining diversity and building soil fertility.  We strive to not just reduce our impact, but heal the earth.  We farm without the use of chemicals or artificial fertilizers.  Serving the healthiest meat to families in our community is very important to us.  We encourage you to support our method of farming and to allow food to be your medicine.
